Our Independence
location offers the Independence community a modern,
handicap accessible funeral home and complete cremation
facility. We have the ability to handle all forms of
services, from funeral, memorial, to celebrations
of life.
When you enter the front doors of Reiff
Funeral home, you'll enter the foyer area and be directed
to the Conference Room where you'll be met by our funeral
director, and if possible your minister. Here we'll
plan the service will help convey to those
in attendance, the love and respect which you hold for
your loved one. If you have any requests please let it
be known. We are here to assist you in any way that
we can.
Adjacent to the conference room you'll
find the Resource Room which contains merchandise displayed
in a non-threatening manner which you may need for the
service you plan.
The large chapel and visitation area can
seat approximately 200 guests, or can be configured
into smaller seating areas that may be more comforting
to you and your family. The chapel and all other areas
of the funeral home are technology friendly. Upon your
request, you or any member of your family will be able
to observe the service in any room of the funeral home
by simply turning on the TV in that room.
Adjacent to the chapel you'll find a family
room that offers your family a place to be alone. There
you can also enjoy food or beverages, and provide a
place for the younger family members to watch TV, or
play games.
On the handicap accessible lower level
of the funeral home, you'll find a large gathering area,
where your family and extended family can meet prior
to your services.
Our community room is also located on
the lower level of the funeral home. This room offers
an excellent venue for your family to host a reception,
for family friends and community members to commemorate
the life of your loved one. This room is also available
for other family functions such as birthday parties,
graduations, wedding showers, seminars, etc. With it's
own separate entrance you can access the community room
without entering the funeral areas of the facility.
